Frequently asked questions

How does the Liga MX Simulator work?

It starts from the real Liga MX Apertura 2026 table and fixtures. Type a score for any remaining match or press Simulate: each result is drawn from the attack and defence each team has shown this season, with home advantage, and the table updates instantly. Once the regular phase is over, the Liguilla can be played to the final.

How does the Liguilla work?

The top 8 qualify. The quarter-finals are 1st v 8th, 2nd v 7th, 3rd v 6th and 4th v 5th, and the semi-finals are re-seeded: the best-placed club left plays the lowest. Every round is played over two legs with the better-placed club at home in the second. A tie level on aggregate goes to the better-placed club, except in the final, which goes to extra time and penalties.

How are the chances calculated?

The Chances tab plays out the rest of the tournament and the Liguilla 5,000 times from the current results, including your predictions, and counts how often each club finishes in each position and wins the title.
